Description

The Focus is a 12W LED track spotlight with a wide beam angle, integrated 4000K neutral white LED, and a cylindrical matt black aluminium body. The unit clips onto single-phase unity track systems and rotates through approximately 350° horizontally and tilts 90° vertically, allowing the light to be directed at walls, displays, worktops or architectural features after installation.

Designed for retail, office, kitchen and gallery applications where directed task or accent lighting is needed, the Focus delivers neutral white light that renders colours accurately without the warm cast of 3000K or the clinical tone of 5000K and above. The wide beam angle spreads light across a broader surface area than narrow spot versions, making it suited to illuminating larger wall sections, shelving runs or worktop zones rather than pinpoint highlighting. The recessed LED sits behind the front aperture, reducing direct glare from typical viewing angles.

The aluminium body dissipates heat generated by the 12W LED, extending the operational life of the light source. The matt black finish absorbs reflections and integrates into dark ceiling schemes or contrasts against white ceilings where the track itself becomes a design feature. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments — the Focus is not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor canopies or other damp locations.

Single-phase unity track is a standardised rail system allowing multiple track heads to be positioned, repositioned and swapped without re-wiring. The Focus clips directly onto the track via a twist-lock adaptor visible in the mounting plate, making it straightforward to adjust lighting layouts when room use changes or displays are reconfigured. The 165-265V AC input range accommodates both UK 230V mains and some international voltages without requiring a step-down transformer.

The Focus fits single-phase unity track, a standardised rail system used across multiple brands. The spotlight clips onto the track via a twist-lock adaptor and can be repositioned along the rail length without re-wiring.

What's the difference between wide and narrow beam versions?

Wide beam spreads light over a larger surface area, suited to illuminating shelving, worktops or wall sections. Narrow beam concentrates light into a tighter circle, used for highlighting individual objects or architectural details. This model is the wide beam version.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED is integrated into the spotlight body and is not user-replaceable. The unit carries a 5-year warranty covering LED failure within normal operating conditions.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the Focus is suitable only for dry indoor locations. Bathrooms require IP44 or higher depending on zone classification.
