Focus LED Single Phase Track Spotlight 12W 3000K Wide Beam - Black

The Maytoni Focus is a 12W LED track spotlight with a wide beam angle and a cylindrical matt black aluminium body measuring 125mm long by 52mm diameter. The integrated LED runs at 3000K warm white colour temperature and is recessed behind a reflector plate that controls beam spread and minimises glare. The spotlight mounts onto single-phase track rails via a twist-lock adapter and can be rotated and tilted after installation to direct light where needed.

Designed for accent lighting in retail displays, gallery walls, kitchen worktops and living room feature areas, the Focus delivers directional light without the heat or maintenance of halogen equivalents. The wide beam angle suits washing light across larger surfaces or illuminating groups of objects rather than tight-spot highlighting. The single-phase track connection allows multiple Focus spotlights to be added, moved or removed from the same rail without re-wiring the ceiling.

The aluminium construction keeps weight down to allow ceiling tracks to carry multiple fittings without sagging, while the matt black finish absorbs reflections and sits comfortably against dark ceilings or as contrast against white. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor use. The low UGR (unified glare rating) means the light output is diffused enough to avoid harsh shadows or eye strain when viewed at typical room angles. The high CRI (colour rendering index) preserves the natural appearance of fabrics, artwork and furnishings under the light beam.

What track system does this fit?

The Focus fits single-phase track rails. It uses a twist-lock adapter that clips into the track and allows the spotlight to be rotated and repositioned along the rail without tools. Check that your existing track is single-phase before ordering — three-phase and two-circuit tracks use different adapters.

Can the beam angle be adjusted?

The beam angle is fixed as a wide distribution — the reflector behind the LED determines the spread. The spotlight head can be tilted and rotated on its mount to aim the beam, but the beam width itself cannot be narrowed or widened.

Is it dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the track system's power supply. If the track circuit is connected to a compatible LED dimmer at the mains end, the Focus will dim. It is not dimmable via a switch on the fitting itself.

What's the difference between wide beam and narrow beam versions?

Maytoni produces the Focus in both wide and narrow beam variants. The wide beam (this version) distributes light across a broader area, suited to washing walls or lighting larger surfaces. The narrow beam concentrates light into a tighter spot for highlighting specific objects or details.
