Description

The Fly Slim is a round LED ceiling light built as a slim white disc that sits close against the ceiling rather than hanging down. The light comes from an integrated LED behind an opal diffuser, so it reads as an even, glare-free circle of warm light instead of a hard beam, with a wide 130 degree spread that fills a room evenly. Unlit, it holds its shape as a broad plain white disc only 44mm deep, so it stays flat and quiet on the ceiling.

This is the largest size at 900mm across, giving 8000 lumens of warm 2700K light from a 68W integrated LED with a high CRI over 90, so colours in the room read true. At just 44mm deep it suits a large living room, an open-plan dining space or a big bedroom where a broad, even ceiling light is wanted and a hanging fitting would crowd the room.

The body is aluminium in a white finish with an opal diffuser, rated IP40 for indoor rooms including the space around a bathroom. The LED is built in and rated for around 50,000 hours, so there are no bulbs to buy or change. We supply it as a standard on/off fitting ready to wire in; there is also a separate dimmable driver version if you need to lower the light.

No. The Fly Slim uses an integrated 68W LED giving 8000 lumens, so the light source is built in and included. There are no separate bulbs to buy, and the LED is rated for around 50,000 hours.

Can it be dimmed?

As supplied it is a standard on/off ceiling light and is not dimmable out of the box. The Fly Slim also comes with a separate DALI or push-dimming driver, so if you need to lower the light we can advise on the dimmable version.
