Description

The Fly is a round LED ceiling light built as a white disc that sits close against the ceiling rather than hanging down. The light comes from an integrated LED behind a diffuser, so it reads as an even, glare-free circle of warm light instead of a hard beam, filling the room on a wide 87 degree spread. Unlit, it holds its shape as a plain white disc, staying flat and quiet overhead.

It measures 350mm across and 78mm deep, giving 1800 lumens of warm 2700K light from an 18W integrated LED with a high CRI over 90, so colours in the room read true. That output suits a bedroom, a kitchen, a hallway or a bathroom landing where you want a bright ceiling light rather than a hanging fitting.

The body is metal in a white finish, rated IP40 for indoor rooms including the space around a bathroom. The LED is built in and rated for around 50,000 hours, so there are no bulbs to buy or change. We supply it ready to wire in as a standard on/off fitting; there is also a matching version driven by an optional 1-10V, push or DALI dimmer if you need to lower the light.

What kind of light does the Fly give?

A soft, even warm-white glow at 2700K. The integrated LED sits behind a diffuser and throws a wide 87 degree spread, so the light fills the room without a harsh central beam. With a CRI over 90, colours in the room look true.

Does it need bulbs?

No. The Fly uses an integrated 18W LED giving 1800 lumens, so the light source is built in and included. There are no separate bulbs to buy, and the LED is rated for around 50,000 hours.

Can it be dimmed?

As supplied it is a standard on/off ceiling light. The Fly also comes with an optional 1-10V, push or DALI driver, so if you need to lower the light we can advise on the dimmable version.

Where does it suit best?

At 350mm across and 78mm deep it suits a bedroom, a kitchen, a hallway or a landing where you want a flat, even ceiling light that keeps the headroom clear.
