Description

The Flux is a 1200mm linear LED pendant light with an integrated 32W LED module housed in a matt black aluminium extrusion. The linear profile measures 1200mm long by 95mm high by 20mm deep, with the LED strip concealed inside the body and light emitted from a narrow slot along the underside, creating a directional downlight wash suitable for task and workspace illumination.

Designed for kitchen islands, office desks, workshop benches and retail counter lighting, the Flux provides 4000K neutral white output along its full 1200mm length. The linear form works where multiple spotlights would cluster awkwardly or where a single central pendant would leave the edges of a worktop under-lit. Suspended on adjustable cables from two ceiling canopies, the fitting hangs parallel to the work surface beneath it, with the 4000K colour temperature matching typical office fluorescent and commercial LED standards.

The aluminium extrusion dissipates LED heat passively without requiring a fan, keeping the fitting silent in operation. The matt black powder-coated finish absorbs rather than reflects ambient light, preventing glare when viewed from the side in open-plan spaces. The integrated 32W LED is dimmable when paired with a compatible mains dimmer, allowing output to be reduced for after-hours ambient lighting or increased to full brightness for detailed task work.

The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments. The 20mm projection keeps the fitting low-profile when suspended at standard kitchen island or desk height, typically 700-900mm above the work surface. The Flux carries a 5-year manufacturer's warranty from Ideal Lux covering both the LED module and the body.
