This little trinket box is made in the shape of a flower box, packed with hand-painted tulips that rise in a full, bright bank above the lid. The blooms come in soft pink, lilac, yellow and peach, many of them set with small clear sparkling stones, and they stand in a crowd of green leaves picked out with gold-tone edges. Below them, the rectangular base is worked as brown basketweave, banded with gold-tone braided trim that runs around the top, middle and foot. It is made from metal alloy and measures 5.5cm tall, 6cm wide and 4cm deep, so it sits comfortably in the palm of your hand.

Its small size suits a dressing table, a bedside table or a bedroom shelf, where the colours bring a cheerful touch of spring to the room all year round.
