Description
The Florida is a 2 light wall light with twin amber frosted glass shades shaped as fluted petals, mounted on curved metal stems finished in brown/black oxide. Each shade houses an E14 bulb (sold separately), with the amber glass diffusing light into a warm glow. An integral rocker switch sits on the circular backplate, allowing the fitting to be controlled without a separate wall switch.
Designed for living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and alcoves where a decorative wall light with built-in switching is needed, the Florida mounts at approximately 1.5-1.8m height to provide ambient wash light across a wall or to flank a mirror or artwork. The 300mm projection clears most skirting boards and narrow shelves. The twin arms extend outward and upward from the backplate, creating a 380mm spread across the wall.
The brown/black oxide finish on the metalwork has a slightly textured, aged appearance that pairs with traditional, rustic and Arts & Crafts interiors. The amber frosted glass shades show a petal-like form with fluted edges when lit, casting a warm-toned light suitable for relaxed evening settings. The fitting weighs 1kg, which is within the mounting tolerance of most plasterboard walls when fixed to a stud or using appropriate cavity fixings.

Frequently Asked
Does the integral switch mean I don't need a separate wall switch?
The integral rocker switch on the backplate allows the fitting to be turned on and off directly. This is useful where there is no existing wall switch, but you can still wire the fitting to a wall switch if preferred. The rocker switch then becomes a secondary control.
What bulbs does it take?
Two E14 small Edison screw bulbs, sold separately. For the amber glass to show its warm tones, most users choose 2700K-3000K warm white LED or halogen bulbs rated at 4-6W LED equivalent.
Is it dimmable?
Yes, when paired with dimmable E14 bulbs and a compatible wall dimmer. The integral switch is a simple on/off rocker and does not include dimming functionality.
What fixing depth is needed?
The backplate conceals standard UK back box depths (approximately 25-35mm). Ensure fixings are into a solid wall, stud, or use appropriate cavity fixings for plasterboard to support the 1kg weight.
