Description
The Knightsbridge Grid flex outlet module provides a polished chrome outlet aperture for flexible cables up to 10mm diameter, designed to clip into standard Knightsbridge Grid mounting frames. The module measures 24.8mm wide (one grid module width) and fits vertically into the frame from the front without requiring access to the back box once the frame is installed.
Designed for kitchen worktops, island units, offices and anywhere fixed appliances need a dedicated outlet point that's cleaner than a surface-mounted socket, the module accepts the cable for kettles, small appliances, task lighting and low-voltage transformers. The polished chrome finish matches other Grid modules in the same range, allowing a consistent look across multi-module plates that combine switches, sockets, USB ports and outlet modules.
The module is constructed from ABS plastic with a steel backing plate and a polished chrome faceplate, rated IP20 for dry indoor environments. The 22.6mm recessed depth and 35mm minimum back box depth requirement are consistent across the Grid range, so the module can be installed alongside other Grid components without needing different box depths. The 25-year warranty covers the mechanical fixing and finishing under normal residential use.

Frequently Asked
What cable diameter does this accept?
The module accepts flexible cables up to 10mm in diameter. This covers most small appliance cables including kettles, coffee machines, and low-voltage transformer leads.
Does this come with a mounting frame?
No. The module clips into a separate Knightsbridge Grid mounting frame, which is sold separately. You need to select the frame based on how many modules you're installing (1-gang, 2-gang, 3-gang, etc.) and your preferred faceplate finish.
Can this be used in bathrooms or kitchens near water?
The IP20 rating means the module is suitable for dry indoor locations only. It is not rated for installation in bathroom zones or anywhere it could be exposed to water spray or high humidity.
What other finishes are available?
Knightsbridge produces the Grid flex outlet module in a range of finishes including brushed chrome, matt black, white, polished brass and antique brass. Use the search function or filters to find other finishes in stock at Niori.
