Description

The Knightsbridge Grid flex outlet module accepts flexible cables up to 10mm in diameter, passing them through a single circular aperture in a brushed chrome faceplate. The module measures 56.3mm high by 24.8mm wide (one-module width in the Grid system) and clips into Knightsbridge Grid mounting frames from the front without requiring screws or rear access.

Designed for residential and commercial installations where trailing appliance cables need to exit from a Grid plate assembly — desk lamps, phone chargers, small appliances, IT equipment — the module allows the cable to pass through cleanly without the bulk of a standard plug and socket. The 10mm aperture suits most standard flex types including round mains cable, coaxial cable and USB-C charging cable.

The brushed chrome finish matches other modules in Knightsbridge's Grid range, allowing flex outlets to be combined with switches, sockets, data ports and blanking plates on the same mounting frame. The module body is ABS plastic with a steel mounting clip, rated IP20 for dry indoor use. The 25-year warranty covers material and manufacturing defects under normal domestic and commercial use.

The circular aperture accepts flexible cables up to 10mm in diameter. This includes most standard appliance flex, round mains cable, coaxial cable and USB-C charging cable.

Does this require a separate mounting frame?

Yes. Knightsbridge Grid modules clip into separate mounting frames which are fixed to a 35mm minimum back box. The frames are sold separately and are available in various configurations (1-module, 2-module, 3-module, etc.).

Can this be used in bathrooms?

The module is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only. It is not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor installations where moisture or splashing may occur.
