Description

The Flermanne table lamp pairs a faceted steel base with a fabric drum shade, both in black and copper. The base is an open geometric cage of angled black panels, each with a copper-toned inner face, so the copper colour shows through the gaps from every angle. The shade is black on the outside and has a copper lining, which warms the light as it leaves the lamp. It stands 51cm tall with a base diameter of 25cm. It takes an E27 bulb of up to 60W, and the bulb is not included, so the colour of the light is yours to choose. It is rated IP20, which settles where it goes: indoors, in a dry room.

At 51cm tall it suits a sideboard, a console or a bedside table, and the copper lining gives a warm glow that works well in a living room, a bedroom or a hallway in the evening. The open cage keeps the base from looking heavy, so it sits happily on a pale surface or against a darker wall. Because the bulb is your choice, you can fit a warm white bulb for a cosy reading light or a decorative filament bulb for a more vintage look, as long as it stays within the 60W maximum.
