The Flermanne is a pendant light with a faceted steel cage shade in a soft pastel apricot finish, hung on a white cord from a matching round ceiling canopy. Its folded panels form a geometric diamond shape with open gaps between the facets, so the bulb shows through and light falls in angled patterns across the inside of the shade. The shade is 31cm across and the light has an overall height of 150cm. It takes a single E27 bulb of up to 60W, and the bulb is not included, so the colour and brightness of the light are yours to choose. Rated IP20, it is made for indoor rooms that stay dry.

We would hang it over a dining table, above a sideboard or in a hallway with a good ceiling height, where the cage still reads as a shape even while the bulb is unlit. The muted apricot sits comfortably with pale walls, warm wood and soft pinks, adding gentle colour without overpowering a room. It suits a living room, bedroom or dining room, and anyone who wants a pendant with some character rather than a plain shade.
