Description

The Flermanne is a pendant light built from black steel wire, bent into a faceted, geometric cage that tapers towards the cord and opens into a wide, crisp outline at its base. It measures 31cm across and 110cm in overall height, a generous size that gives a room a clear focal point without crowding it. Inside sits a single E27 lampholder for a bulb of up to 60W. The bulb is not included, which leaves the choice of glow entirely to you. It is rated IP20, so it belongs indoors in a dry room.

We like it most in a living room, hung over a coffee table, or low above a dining table where the open cage can be enjoyed at eye level. Because the frame is so open, the bulb stays in view, so a decorative filament bulb becomes part of the look. The black finish sits comfortably against pale walls, warm timber and soft neutral fabrics, and the sharp lines suit a calm, pared back scheme as readily as an industrial one.
