The Flerbenne is an outdoor wall light with a motion sensor. It is shaped as a slim, angled torch of brushed stainless steel holding a white plastic shade capped by a steel ring. It is 42.5cm tall and 7.5cm in diameter, and it stands 16.5cm out from the wall, so it gives a neat upright line beside a door rather than a bulky lantern. It takes a standard E27 bulb of up to 12W, which you choose yourself, as the bulb is not included. The IP44 rating means it is protected from splashing water, so it lives outdoors on a house wall.

The sensor sits in the steel base and acts as the switch, so the light comes on by itself whenever it senses movement. That makes it a sensible choice beside a front door, along a side path or by the back step. You get light to find your keys or the gate without leaving a bulb burning all night. The white shade gives a soft, diffused glow, and the brushed steel sits comfortably against render, brick or painted masonry.
