Description

The Firbora is a ceiling pendant light with a cylindrical shade of smoked glass, hanging on a slim black cord from a round black canopy. The body is steel in a black finish, and the black-transparent glass is dark enough to tone down a bare bulb yet clear enough to show the lamp holder inside it. The shade is 16cm across and the light measures 110cm tall overall, a narrow profile that keeps the glass from crowding a room. It takes an E27 bulb of up to 40W, and the bulb is not included, so the choice of colour and brightness is yours. Rated IP20, it belongs indoors in a dry room, so keep it away from bathrooms and the outdoors.

This slim cylinder hangs neatly above a dining table, and the 16cm shade is narrow enough to hang in a row along a longer table where a wide shade would crowd the space. It suits a hallway, a landing or a quiet corner of a living room too, wherever the room stays dry.
