Fia 2 Light Flush Ceiling Light - White

The Fia is a 300mm diameter flush ceiling light with a white powder-coated metal frame and a ribbed frosted glass diffuser shaped like an inverted bell. Two E27 bulbs (sold separately) sit inside the glass shade, which diffuses their light evenly across the ceiling and into the room. The 150mm overall drop from ceiling to the lowest point of the shade makes the fitting suitable for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3m or above.

Designed for hallways, landings, bedrooms and bathrooms where a flush or semi-flush fitting is needed due to ceiling height restrictions, the Fia provides ambient light without protruding far into the room. The ribbed texture on the frosted glass hides the bulbs from direct view while allowing light to pass through softly. The white metal canopy and frame blend into standard white ceilings, reducing visual clutter in smaller rooms.

The fitting accepts any E27 LED, halogen or filament bulb up to 40W per socket (80W combined maximum). Dimming is possible when paired with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. The ribbed glass shade lifts off the metal frame for bulb changes and cleaning, and the 1.6kg weight sits comfortably on plasterboard ceilings with standard fixings.

What bulbs does the Fia take?

The fitting takes two E27 (Edison screw) bulbs, each up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with two warm-white LED bulbs around 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for general room lighting.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The 150mm drop from ceiling to the lowest point of the glass shade makes the Fia suitable for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3m or above, including typical UK hallways, landings and bedrooms.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

The specification table does not list an IP rating. For bathroom use, confirm whether the fitting carries an IP44 or IP65 rating by contacting us before purchase. Without an IP rating, the Fia is suitable only for dry indoor locations.

How is the glass shade removed for bulb changes?

The frosted glass shade lifts off the metal frame. Turn off the power at the consumer unit, allow the bulbs to cool, then lift the shade clear of the frame to access the bulbs. Reverse the process to refit.
