Description

The Fesvine is a slim LED flood light in white, with a motion sensor set beneath the panel so it switches the light whenever it senses movement. The body is aluminium, and the integrated LEDs sit behind a clear glass front. It measures 20.5cm long, 20cm high and just 5cm deep, so it keeps a low profile against the wall. At 53W it gives 5,800 lumens of cool white light at 5000K, a crisp, bright light for a driveway, a yard or the side of a garage. It is rated IP44, which means it is protected from splashing water and can live outdoors on a house wall.

We would put it where a bright light on arrival matters most: above a front door, over a garage, along a side path or facing the back garden. Because the sensor does the switching, the light shines only when it is needed, and nobody is left hunting for a switch with their hands full. Corner mounting is possible, which is useful where one light has to sit at the corner of a building. The white finish sits quietly against render, painted brick or pale stone, and the shallow body looks neat on a wall that is seen by day as well as by night.

The LEDs are integrated and cannot be replaced, so there is never a bulb to buy or change. The light is not dimmable, so it is not one for a dimmer switch. Aluminium is lightweight and does not rust, and the clear glass front lets the full output pass. It runs on 220-240V mains and weighs 0.704KG packed. As a wired-in mains light, it should be installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download.
