Description

The Fesvine is a slim LED flood light in a black aluminium body, with a clear glass front over a bright panel of integrated LEDs and a motion sensor set just beneath it. It measures 17.5cm long, 19cm high and 5cm deep, so it sits neatly on a wall without looking bulky. The LEDs draw 31W and give 3,400 lumens of cool white light at 5000K, plenty to flood a driveway or a back garden. Rated IP44, it is protected from splashing water, so it lives outdoors on a house wall.

Because the switch is a motion sensor, the light comes on by itself when someone moves nearby, which suits a front door, a side passage, a garage or the path down the garden. You get a bright welcome home without fumbling for a switch, and a clear view of anyone coming up the drive. Corner mounting is possible too, useful where the best spot for the light is the outside corner of a house or garage. The crisp 5000K white is close to daylight, which helps when you are finding keys or wheeling the bins to the kerb.

The housing is aluminium, a metal that does not rust, finished in black, while the front is clear glass, which is easy to wipe clean. The bracket lets you angle the light where it is needed. The LEDs are built in and cannot be replaced, and the light is not dimmable, so it gives its full brightness each time the sensor picks up movement. It runs on mains power at 220-240V, 50/60Hz, and as a wired-in fitting it should be installed by a qualified electrician.
