The Fesessa is a compact LED wall light with a curved white shade that sweeps across a rectangular satin nickel base. It measures 20cm long and 10.5cm high, and it stands just 6cm off the wall, so it sits neatly in a hallway or beside a bed where a deeper fitting would catch a shoulder. The light comes from integrated LEDs drawing 5.6W and giving 680lm of warm white light at 3000K, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It is rated IP20, which means it belongs indoors in dry rooms, away from bathrooms and outside walls.

We would put it in a living room, a bedroom, a landing or a hallway, where a soft glow of warm light at wall height is more welcome than a bright ceiling light. The satin nickel and white pairing is quiet enough for a pale scheme and crisp against a dark painted wall, and a pair either side of a bed or a dressing table gives a balanced look. At 6cm deep it also suits narrow corridors and stairways, where the space between the wall and a passer-by is tight.

The body is aluminium with a satin nickel finish, and aluminium is a light metal that resists corrosion. The shade is plastic with a satin finish that gives it a soft, frosted look. There is no switch on the light itself: it works from your wall switch, and it is not dimmable, so it comes on at its full 680lm every time.
