Description

The Fenoullet 1 is a brass wall light built around an oval steel backplate, with scrolled arms curling out from the centre and strings of clear brilliant glass drops hanging from every curve. It measures 37cm tall and 29cm wide and stands 17.5cm out from the wall, a modest projection for a hallway or landing where people walk past it. It takes an E14 bulb of up to 25W, and the bulb is not included. Rated IP20, it is made for dry indoor rooms, so keep it away from bathrooms and outside walls.

This is a wall light for the rooms where you want a little sparkle: a hallway, a landing, either side of a bed, or flanking a dressing table mirror. The glass drops catch the light from the bulb and throw glints across the wall, while the brass finish brings warmth to pale paint or stone-effect walls. We think it suits a traditional home just as readily as a modern one that wants a touch of old-fashioned glamour. Hung in pairs, the lights frame a fireplace, a bed or a console table beautifully.
