Description

The Fanzarotta 1 is a round LED wall light in black, built around a steel backplate 14.5cm across with a slim cylindrical reading spot set on an adjustable arm. The spot gives 230 lumens, a focused beam bright enough to read a book without lighting the whole room. It is rated IP20, which means it belongs indoors in a dry room, so think bedrooms, studies and living rooms rather than bathrooms or porches.

Its natural home is beside the bed, fixed to the wall at headboard height, where one partner can read while the other sleeps. A pair either side of a double bed keeps bedside tables clear for books and glasses, and the same idea works over a reading chair or a desk in a home office. Because the spot turns on its arm, you aim the light at the page rather than at your eyes. Against a pale wall, the black finish gives a crisp, graphic look that suits modern and minimal bedrooms alike.

The body is steel in a black finish, and the backplate carries two rocker switches and a USB port, so a phone can charge at the bedside without hunting for a socket.
