Description

Fanore is a round glass Christmas bauble in a deep matt red, 8cm across, wrapped in a gold glitter pattern of leafy sprigs and curling swirls. The leaves sit along a central stem that runs down the front, and the swirls carry the design around the sides, so it looks good from more than one angle as it turns on the branch. At the top is a gold cap with a small wire loop, ready for a hook or a length of ribbon. It weighs just 0.03KG, light enough for the slimmer branches as well as the sturdy ones nearer the trunk.

Its natural home is the Christmas tree, where the matt red stands out clearly against green needles and the glitter picks up the glow of the tree lights without the mirror shine of a gloss ball. It works just as well indoors along a mantelpiece garland, tucked into a wreath on an inside door, or piled with others in a glass bowl on the dining table. If you like a traditional red and gold scheme, we suggest hanging a few at different heights to carry the theme around the tree, and they sit comfortably beside plain red baubles or gold ones.
