Description

The Fanalet A/02 is an outdoor wall light with a tall arched arm that rises from a slim wall plate and curves over to hold one wide, flat shade. The finish is Graphite Brown (outside) & White (inside), so the shade is dark on top with a white underside facing down. It stands 75cm tall, with a wall plate 35cm tall and 7cm wide, and the shade is 49cm across. The fitting reaches 64cm out from the wall, with 42cm from the top of the arm to the shade. The light comes from an integrated LED of 27W giving 347lm at 2700K, a warm white, with a CRI of 90, so there is no bulb to buy or change and colours look natural in its light.

Rated IP44, it is made for outdoor use: beside a front door, on a porch, over a patio or on a garden wall, where its long reach carries the shade well clear of the wall and lights the steps and paths below. It suits a doorway or terrace that wants one generous fitting rather than several small ones. It comes in two dimming versions, LED, TRIAC dimmable and LED, DALI dimmable. Choose the TRIAC dimmable version to dim it from a compatible dimmer, or the DALI dimmable version where your home or building runs a DALI lighting control system.

It is made of aluminium, stainless steel and iron, and the design is by Estudi Manel Molina. It runs on 230V mains and is wired in, so it is for a qualified electrician to install, and as a Class I fitting it needs an earthed supply. When you plan its position, allow for the 64cm it reaches from the wall and its 75cm height, so the shade sits clear of the door and of anyone passing beneath it.
