Description

The Eveready 8.8W LED GLS bulb is an E27 screw-fit replacement for traditional 60W incandescent bulbs, delivering 806 lumens from an 8.8W LED source. The 6500K daylight colour temperature produces a crisp, cool white light suited to task-focused environments where visibility and colour accuracy matter. This is a 2-pack.

Designed for kitchens, home offices, workshops, garages and utility rooms where bright, neutral light supports reading, food preparation or detailed work, the 6500K output replicates midday sunlight indoors. The 220° beam angle provides wide-area coverage from a ceiling pendant or table lamp. The bulb operates on standard 220-240V mains and is not dimmable — switching on gives full 806 lumens immediately.

The GLS (General Lighting Service) shape is the classic pear profile that fits most domestic lamp holders, pendants and table lamps designed for traditional incandescent bulbs. Each bulb measures 60mm diameter by 110mm height, matching the footprint of a standard 60W incandescent but running at one-seventh of the wattage. What's the difference between daylight 6500K and warm white bulbs?

6500K daylight produces a cool, blue-white light similar to midday sunlight, which increases alertness and colour accuracy in task areas. Warm white bulbs (2700K-3000K) produce a yellower, softer light better suited to living rooms and bedrooms. Choose daylight for kitchens, offices and workshops where you need to see clearly.

Can this bulb be used with a dimmer switch?
