The Eveready 8.8W LED GLS bulb is a direct replacement for traditional 60W incandescent bulbs, delivering 806 lumens at 4000K cool white through a standard B22 bayonet cap. The 8.8W LED consumes approximately 85% less energy than the incandescent equivalent while producing the same usable light output, rated at Energy Class F under current UK labelling standards.

Designed for kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and workspaces where clear task visibility matters more than warm ambience, the 4000K colour temperature sits between warm white (2700K-3000K) and daylight (5000K-6500K). The 220° beam angle spreads light across a wide area, making the bulb suitable for ceiling pendants, table lamps and wall lights in functional rooms. The bulb operates on standard 220-240V mains and is non-dimmable, so pairing it with a dimmer switch will cause flickering or failure.

The GLS (General Lighting Service) shape matches the classic A60 bulb profile, with a 60mm diameter and 108mm overall height including the B22 cap.
