Description

The Eveready 7W R63 is an LED reflector bulb with an E27 Edison screw base, delivering 600 lumens of warm white 3000K light at a 110° beam angle. The R63 reflector shape directs light forward through a frosted glass diffuser, making it suited to downlights, recessed fittings and directional table lamps where controlled light spread is needed rather than omnidirectional output.

Designed to replace 50W conventional R63 halogen or incandescent bulbs, the 7W LED provides equivalent light output while drawing 86% less power on a 220-240V mains supply. The bulb fits standard E27 sockets found in UK and European residential and commercial lighting, with a 63mm diameter and 102mm height that matches the footprint of traditional R63 bulbs. The warm white 3000K colour temperature suits living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens and hospitality spaces where a softer, less clinical light is preferred over cool white.

The bulb is non-dimmable and should be paired only with standard on/off switches — attempting to use it with a dimmer will cause flickering or failure. The Energy Class F rating reflects the LED's efficiency relative to newer bulb technologies, but it still consumes significantly less power than the halogen or incandescent bulbs it replaces. The mercury-free construction allows the bulb to be disposed of safely at end of life without specialist recycling.
