Description

The Eveready 7W LED GLS filament bulb combines a traditional GLS (General Lighting Service) shape with visible LED filaments behind clear glass, delivering 806 lumens at 2700K warm white through an E27 Edison screw base. The bulb runs on 220-240V mains and uses 7W to replace a 60W incandescent, giving the same light output at a fraction of the energy draw.

Suited to table lamps, pendant fittings, wall lights and ceiling fixtures that take E27 bulbs, the GLS shape and clear glass design pair well with exposed-bulb fittings where the bulb itself forms part of the aesthetic. The 280-degree beam angle provides wide light distribution rather than directional throw, making it suitable for general room lighting rather than spotlighting. The bulb is non-dimmable and should be used on standard switched circuits only.

The 10,000-hour rated life at typical domestic use patterns (3 hours per day) translates to approximately 9 years before replacement is needed. The bulb carries an Energy Class E rating under the revised EU energy labelling system introduced in 2021, which rates LED bulbs more strictly than the previous A++ scale.
