B15 (SBC) LED Candle Bulb 7.3W 806lm - Warm White 3000K

This is a candle bulb with a B15 small bayonet cap, the bayonet fitting with two small pins on a narrower barrel than the more common B22. It draws 7.3W and gives 806 lumens, which the retail pack puts at the equivalent of a 60W conventional bulb. The light is warm white at 3,000 Kelvin, a soft yellow-toned white close to the old incandescent look rather than the cooler, bluer white of an office tube. The outer shell is opal white rather than clear, so the light is spread by the shell instead of coming through as bright points.

B15 caps turn up most often in chandeliers, wall lights, picture lights and smaller table lamps, and in older British fittings where the smaller bayonet was the standard. Before ordering, pull the old bulb and look at the cap: two pins on a barrel roughly the width of a pencil is B15, a visibly wider barrel is B22, and a threaded cap is E14 or E27 instead. Take the old bulb out and look at the cap. B15 is a bayonet barrel about 15mm across with two pins; B22 is noticeably wider at about 22mm. A threaded cap is a screw fitting and will not take this bulb.
