Description

The Eveready Fireglow is a 60W incandescent bulb with a B22 bayonet cap, designed to emit 710 lumens of red light at a colour temperature of 1950K. The low colour temperature and red-tinted glass envelope replicate the appearance of natural firelight, producing a warm amber-red glow rather than standard white illumination.

Designed for decorative and mood lighting rather than functional task light, the Fireglow suits electric fireplaces, wall sconces in bars and restaurants, theatrical and stage lighting effects, and accent lighting in living rooms or bedrooms where a warm ambient glow is wanted. The B22 bayonet cap fits standard UK bayonet lamp holders. The bulb is non-dimmable and runs on 230V mains.

The incandescent filament inside the red glass produces the characteristic warm spectrum that LED bulbs struggle to replicate accurately at this low colour temperature. The bulb envelope is a traditional GLS (general lighting service) pear shape, approximately 60mm in diameter and 105mm tall.
