Description

The Eveready 4W LED golf ball bulb uses an E14 small Edison screw base and delivers 470 lumens of warm white 2700K light through visible LED filaments housed in a clear glass envelope. The bulb draws 4W on 220-240V mains, replacing traditional 40W incandescent golf balls at a tenth of the energy consumption.

Designed for chandeliers, wall sconces, bedside lamps and decorative fittings where the bulb is visible, the filament design mimics the appearance of tungsten wire without the heat or energy waste. The 45mm diameter golf ball shape fits smaller lampshades and enclosed fittings where a standard GLS bulb would be too large. The 280-degree beam angle provides wide omnidirectional coverage typical of traditional incandescent bulbs.

The bulb is rated for 10,000 hours of operation, which translates to approximately 10 years at an average domestic use pattern of 2.7 hours per day. The non-dimmable design means the bulb operates at full 470-lumen output whenever switched on, making it suitable for fixed-brightness applications like hallways, landings and decorative fittings that do not require dimming control.
