The Eveready 4W LED golf ball bulb is a compact 45mm diameter sphere with exposed LED filaments behind a clear glass envelope, fitted with a B22 bayonet cap. The bulb produces 470 lumens at 2700K warm white colour temperature, giving the same light output as a traditional 40W incandescent golf ball while consuming 4W of power on 220-240V mains.

Designed for table lamps, bedside lamps, wall sconces and decorative pendant fittings where the bulb is visible, the exposed filament structure provides a vintage aesthetic that suits both traditional and industrial-style interiors. The 280-degree beam angle distributes light in all directions except directly behind the base, making it effective for general ambient lighting rather than directional task light. The non-dimmable driver means it operates at full brightness on standard on/off switches only.

The 78mm overall height and 45mm diameter classify this as a golf ball shape — smaller than a standard GLS bulb and suited to compact fittings where space is limited. Is this bulb dimmable?

No. The bulb is non-dimmable and will only work on standard on/off switches. Pairing it with a dimmer switch may cause flickering, buzzing or complete failure of the bulb.
