Description

The Eveready 4W LED candle bulb uses visible LED filaments behind a clear glass candle-shaped envelope to replicate the look of a traditional incandescent candle bulb while drawing 90% less power. The E27 Edison screw base fits standard UK lamp holders and the bulb outputs 470 lumens at 2700K warm white, equivalent to a 40W incandescent candle.

Designed for chandeliers, wall sconces, table lamps and decorative fittings where the bulb is visible, the filament construction gives the bulb the visual warmth of old tungsten filament bulbs when lit. The 280-degree beam angle provides near-omnidirectional light spread, making it suitable for general ambient lighting as well as decorative use. The bulb operates on 220-240V mains and is rated for up to 10,000 hours lifespan.

The non-dimmable circuit keeps the bulb simple and reliable for standard on/off switching. The clear glass envelope measures 40mm diameter by 98mm height, matching the proportions of classic candle bulbs. The E27 base is the most common screw fitting in the UK, found in ceiling pendants, bedside lamps, dining room chandeliers and Victorian-style wall brackets. The bulb carries Energy Class E rating and contains no mercury.
