Description
The Eveready 4W LED candle bulb uses exposed filament LED technology inside a clear glass candle envelope, delivering 470 lumens of warm white 2700K light from a B15 small bayonet base. The 4W rating replaces traditional 40W incandescent candle bulbs while drawing 90% less power, making the bulb suitable for multi-bulb chandeliers and wall sconces where running costs add up across several fittings.
Designed for decorative fixtures where the bulb remains visible, the clear glass and visible filament strands recreate the appearance of traditional tungsten filament bulbs while providing the longer lifespan and lower heat output of LED technology. The 37mm diameter and 98mm height fit standard candle lampshades and decorative wall brackets. The B15 base is the smaller UK bayonet fitting, common in older chandeliers, bedside lamps and period-style wall lights.
Each bulb is rated for up to 8,000 switching cycles, making the design suitable for areas with frequent on-off use such as hallways and bathrooms where light switches are operated many times per day. The 280-degree beam angle provides wide light distribution across a room rather than a focused spotlight effect. The bulbs are not dimmable and should only be used on standard switched circuits.
This 2-pack format reduces packaging waste and provides a spare bulb when replacing pairs in matching wall sconces or symmetrical chandelier arms. The mercury-free LED construction meets EU regulations for safe disposal at end of life.

Frequently Asked
What is the B15 base type?
B15 is the small UK bayonet cap, measuring 15mm across the two pins. It is smaller than the standard B22 bayonet and is commonly used in older chandeliers, bedside lamps and decorative wall fittings. Check your existing bulb before ordering — if it has two pins on the side and measures approximately 15mm across, it is B15.
Can these bulbs be used with a dimmer switch?
No. These bulbs are non-dimmable and will flicker or fail if used on a dimmer circuit. Use only on standard switched circuits.
What does 2700K colour temperature mean?
2700K is warm white, producing a soft yellowish light similar to traditional incandescent bulbs. This colour temperature suits living rooms, bedrooms and dining rooms where a relaxed atmosphere is preferred. It is warmer than daylight (5000K-6500K) and neutral white (4000K).
How long do these bulbs last?
Eveready rates these bulbs for up to 10 years of typical domestic use, assuming approximately 2.7 hours of operation per day. Actual lifespan depends on switching frequency and operating conditions.
