Description

The Eveready 4W LED candle bulb is a B22 bayonet-cap retrofit bulb with a clear glass envelope housing four visible LED filaments arranged vertically inside a traditional candle-shaped shell. The bulb outputs 470 lumens at 2700K warm white, delivering the same light level as a 40W incandescent bulb whilst drawing only 4W from the mains.

Designed for table lamps, wall lights and chandeliers that take exposed candle bulbs, the clear glass and filament arrangement give the appearance of a traditional incandescent when lit, making the bulb suitable for decorative fittings where the bulb itself is visible. The B22 bayonet fitting is a push-and-twist cap that fits standard UK lamp holders without needing an adaptor. The 280-degree beam angle provides wide light distribution across a room without creating focused hot spots.

The bulb is rated for a 10-year lifespan under typical household use (approximately 10,000 hours at an average of 2.7 hours per day) and can handle over 8,000 on-off switching cycles, making it suitable for frequently-switched locations such as hallway lights and table lamps controlled by a switch at the base.
