Description

The Eveready LED candle bulb is a 4.9W E14 small Edison screw bulb producing 470 lumens of warm white 3000K light. Designed as a direct replacement for traditional 40W incandescent candle bulbs, it draws less than one-eighth of the power while delivering comparable light output. The candle profile measures 48mm diameter by 110mm height, fitting most chandeliers, wall lights and table lamps that take E14 bases.

Suited to living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways where candle-profile bulbs are used in decorative fittings, the 280-degree beam angle provides wide light distribution without the directional focus of a spotlight. The bulb operates on standard 220-240V UK mains and switches on instantly to full brightness with no warm-up period. The 3000K colour temperature sits in the warm white range, producing a yellowish-white tone closer to traditional incandescent than cooler daylight LEDs.

The bulb carries an F energy rating under current UK labelling (equivalent to A+ under the previous scale before the 2021 relabelling) and is rated for a 10-year lifespan based on average domestic use of 2.7 hours per day, which translates to approximately 10,000 hours. The construction is mercury-free and the bulb weighs 40g per unit. This pack contains two bulbs.

Note that these bulbs are non-dimmable and will flicker or fail if used with dimmer switches. For circuits with dimmers fitted, select a dimmable-rated LED bulb instead.
