Description

The Eveready 4.9W LED candle bulb delivers 470 lumens of 3000K warm white light through a frosted candle-shaped envelope on a B22 bayonet base. The bulb draws 4.9W on 230V mains to replace a traditional 40W incandescent candle, offering equivalent brightness at approximately 88% lower energy consumption.

Designed for table lamps, wall lights, chandeliers and pendant fittings that take B22 bayonet-cap candles, the bulb provides omni-directional light with a 280-degree beam angle. The 3000K colour temperature produces a warm white tone comparable to halogen or incandescent sources, making it suitable for living rooms, bedrooms and dining spaces where warmer light is preferred over cooler daylight tones. The frosted finish softens the light output and hides the internal LED components when the bulb is off.

Rated for a 10-year lifespan at average domestic use (approximately 10,000 hours), the bulb reduces replacement frequency compared to traditional incandescent candles. The construction is mercury-free and carries an F energy rating under current EU lamp energy labelling standards. The bulb is not dimmable and should only be used on standard switched circuits.
