The Eveready 4.9W E14 LED candle bulb delivers 470 lumens of 6500K daylight-white light through a classic candle profile with a frosted opal finish. The E14 small Edison screw base fits standard decorative fixtures including chandeliers, wall sconces and bedside table lamps. At 4.9W consumption the bulb provides light output comparable to a 40W incandescent while drawing one-tenth the power.

Designed for task-focused environments requiring crisp visibility, the 6500K colour temperature sits at the cool end of the spectrum and suits kitchens, home offices, workshops and utility rooms where colour accuracy and alertness matter. The 280° beam angle provides wide distribution from a candle-shaped source, minimising shadows beneath multi-arm chandeliers and wall brackets. The bulb is rated for 10,000 on/off switching cycles, making it suitable for high-traffic areas and sensor-controlled installations.

The 6500K daylight colour temperature is quite cool and crisp, better suited to task environments like kitchens, offices and workshops. For living rooms and bedrooms most users prefer 2700K-3000K warm white bulbs which create a more relaxed atmosphere.

Can it be used with a dimmer switch?
