Description
The Eveready 4.7W GU10 LED bulb delivers 320 lumens of daylight-toned 6500K light through a 110° beam angle, replacing traditional 50W halogen spotlights while consuming just 4.7W. The GU10 twist-and-lock base fits standard mains voltage spotlight fittings without requiring a transformer, making it a direct halogen replacement for kitchens, bathrooms, offices and retail spaces.
Daylight at 6500K sits at the cooler end of the colour temperature spectrum, giving a crisp white light closer to midday sun than the warm amber of 2700K domestic bulbs. This cooler tone increases visual clarity and is suited to task lighting where colour accuracy and brightness matter—workshop areas, display cabinets, commercial kitchens, bathrooms with mirrors, and office desk lamps. The 110° beam spreads light wider than the 36-40° spot beam typical of older halogen GU10s, covering more area per fitting.
Rated at 10,000 hours or approximately 10 years at typical domestic use (3 hours per day), the bulb reduces replacement frequency compared to halogen alternatives. The CRI (Colour Rendering Index) exceeds 80, meaning colours under the light appear closer to how they would under natural daylight. The bulb is non-dimmable and must not be paired with dimmer switches. The ceramic and glass construction measures 50mm diameter by 57mm height and weighs 30g.

Frequently Asked
Can this bulb be used with a dimmer switch?
No. This bulb is non-dimmable and must not be connected to a dimmer circuit. Pairing a non-dimmable LED with a dimmer causes flickering, buzzing and premature failure. If you need dimmable GU10s, search for 'GU10 dimmable' on the Niori site.
What's the difference between 6500K and 3000K?
6500K is daylight tone—crisp, cool white closer to midday sun. 3000K is warm white—softer, amber-toned like traditional domestic bulbs. For living rooms and bedrooms, most prefer warm white. For kitchens, bathrooms, offices and workshops where brightness and clarity matter, daylight works well.
Does it fit all GU10 fittings?
Yes. The GU10 base is a UK and EU standard. The bulb fits any mains voltage spotlight fitting with a GU10 socket. Measure the recess depth if fitting into enclosed housings—the 57mm bulb height must fit without the face protruding.
How long does it last?
Rated at 10,000 hours, which translates to approximately 10 years if used 3 hours per day. Actual lifespan depends on operating temperature, mains voltage stability and switching frequency.
