Description

The Eveready GU10 LED is a 3.1W non-dimmable spotlight bulb delivering 250 lumens of warm white light at 3000K, supplied as a twin pack. The GU10 twist-and-lock base fits standard UK mains voltage downlighters and spotlight fittings directly, replacing 35W halogen equivalents with an 89% reduction in power consumption.

Designed for recessed ceiling downlights, track lighting systems and adjustable spotlights in kitchens, hallways, bathrooms and living rooms, the 110° beam angle provides a wide flood of light rather than a narrow spot. This makes the bulb suitable for general room lighting where multiple downlighters are installed, rather than accent lighting. The bulbs operate on 220-240V mains without requiring a transformer or driver.

Each bulb measures 50mm diameter by 57mm height and weighs 40g, fitting flush within most downlight housings without visible protrusion. The 10,000-hour rated lifespan translates to approximately 10 years of typical domestic use at 3 hours per day. The bulbs carry an Energy Rating G under the revised EU energy labelling system introduced in 2021, which rates all LED bulbs lower than the previous A+ to A+++ scale.
