Description

The Eveready 250W infrared heater bulb is an E27-base incandescent bulb that combines radiant heat output with 1300 lumens of warm white light at 3000K. The bulb is designed for heating applications where both warmth and illumination are required — reptile terrariums, poultry brooders, bathroom heat lamps, industrial drying processes, and food service warming stations.

The infrared output provides radiant heat that warms surfaces and objects directly rather than heating air, making it more efficient than convection heating in draughty or poorly-insulated spaces. The diffused hard glass envelope distributes the heat and light evenly without creating a harsh directional hotspot. The bulb fits standard E27 Edison screw sockets and draws 250W on 230V mains, requiring no special wiring or ballast.

The pygmy shape keeps the bulb compact despite the high wattage, and the hard glass construction withstands thermal cycling better than standard domestic incandescent bulbs.
