Description

The Eveready 15W pygmy bulb is a compact incandescent appliance bulb with an E14 small Edison screw base, outputting 60 lumens of warm white light at 3000K. The bulb measures approximately 50mm in total length with a 26mm diameter pear-shaped glass envelope, designed to fit the tight spaces inside fridges, ovens, range hoods, sewing machines and other domestic appliances where a standard A60 bulb cannot fit.

Rated at 15W on 220-240V mains, the bulb delivers enough light to see into fridge compartments or illuminate oven interiors without generating the heat output of higher-wattage incandescent bulbs. The warm white 3000K colour temperature provides better colour rendering for food than cooler LED alternatives, making it easier to judge freshness and ripeness. The bulb is rated for approximately one year of typical appliance use, though actual lifespan varies with on-off cycle frequency and ambient temperature.

This pack contains two bulbs, giving a spare when the first fails or allowing simultaneous replacement in appliances with two pygmy fittings such as double-door American-style fridges.
