A pygmy bulb is one of the smallest mains lamps still made, and this one keeps to the classic shape: a short clear glass body rising to a rounded crown, with the filament left in plain view inside. It takes an E14 small screw cap, the threaded fitting usually written as SES on the side of a pack. Rated at 15W, it gives 60 lumens at 2,800 Kelvins, a warm white close to the colour of old household bulbs rather than the whiter light most LED replacements settle on.
