Description

The Eveready 15W pygmy bulb is a compact incandescent appliance bulb with a B22 bayonet cap, delivering 60 lumens of 2800K warm white light. Designed for small enclosed spaces where standard bulbs do not fit, the pygmy shape measures approximately 20mm diameter and 50mm length, making it suitable for refrigerators, ovens, range hoods, sewing machines and decorative light fittings with restricted space.

The B22 bayonet cap provides a firm push-and-twist connection that resists loosening under vibration, which is useful in appliances with moving parts or in fixtures subject to door closures. The 15W filament operates on standard 230V mains and produces enough light to illuminate a small interior compartment without generating excessive heat in enclosed spaces. The bulb is rated for approximately one year of intermittent use typical of appliance lighting cycles.

As an incandescent bulb with an energy rating of G, this pygmy is less efficient than LED equivalents but provides instant full-brightness light without warm-up time and works in any environment including very cold conditions inside refrigerators.
