Description

The Eveready 13.8W LED GLS bulb is a B22 bayonet-cap lamp delivering 1521 lumens at 3000K warm white colour temperature, designed as a direct replacement for traditional 100W incandescent bulbs. The GLS (General Lighting Service) shape follows the standard A60 profile, fitting any fixture that previously took a bayonet-cap incandescent or halogen bulb.

Suited to table lamps, ceiling pendants and wall lights in living rooms, bedrooms and dining spaces, the 200° beam angle provides wide light distribution across a room rather than focusing into a narrow spot. The 13.8W power draw delivers the same visible brightness as a 100W incandescent while consuming approximately 86% less energy. The bulb is non-dimmable and should be paired with standard on/off switches rather than dimmer circuits.

The warm white 3000K output sits in the lower end of the white spectrum, producing a yellowish tone closer to incandescent light than the cooler whites of 4000K or 5000K LEDs. The rated lifespan of 15,000 hours translates to approximately 10 years when used for an average of 4 hours per day. The Energy Class E rating reflects current EU energy labelling standards for LED bulbs, where the scale now runs from A to G with all LEDs falling into mid-range bands.
