This is a GLS bulb with a B22 bayonet cap, the standard push and twist fitting on most British pendants and table lamps. It draws 14W and gives 1521 lumens, the sort of output people used to get from a 100W conventional bulb, and the pack makes that same comparison. The light is warm white at 3000K, so it reads soft and slightly yellow rather than blue or clinical. The envelope is white opal rather than clear glass, which spreads the light across the whole surface instead of leaving the diodes visible as bright points. It is supplied as a box of two.

A 200 degree beam angle means the light goes nearly all the way round the bulb rather than forwards in a cone, which is what a ceiling rose, a pendant with a fabric shade or a standard lamp needs if the room is to fill evenly. At 1521 lumens it is bright enough to work as the only light in a hallway, a kitchen or a living room, so it belongs in a main fitting rather than a bedside lamp, where that much output tends to be more than anyone wants late in the evening.

Will this fit my existing bayonet light fitting?

Can I put it on a dimmer switch?

Yes, the beam angle is 200 degrees, so light leaves almost the whole envelope rather than firing forward in a cone. That suits shades, pendants and upward facing lamp holders.
