Description

The Eveready LED GLS bulb delivers 1521 lumens from a 13.8W LED chip behind a frosted glass envelope, providing equivalent light output to a traditional 100W incandescent bulb whilst consuming 86% less energy. The B22 bayonet base fits standard UK lamp holders and the GLS (General Lighting Service) shape matches the profile of a classic light bulb, making it a direct retrofit for ceiling pendants, table lamps and floor lamps throughout the home.

At 3000K colour temperature, the bulb casts warm white light similar to a halogen bulb, suited to living rooms, bedrooms and dining spaces where warmer tones create a comfortable atmosphere. The 200-degree beam angle provides wide light distribution rather than a focused spot, filling a room with even ambient light. The frosted glass diffuses the LED chip to prevent glare when the bulb is visible in open fittings.

Rated for 15,000 hours at typical domestic use patterns, the bulb should last approximately 10 years when run 4 hours per day, reducing replacement frequency compared to halogen or incandescent equivalents.
