Description
The Eveready 13.8W LED GLS bulb delivers 1521 lumens of daylight white 6500K light through a standard B22 bayonet cap fitting, designed to replace 100W incandescent bulbs at a fraction of the energy consumption. The GLS (general lighting service) shape matches the profile of traditional household bulbs, fitting the same lampshades and fittings without modification.
The 6500K colour temperature produces a cool daylight white output suited to task-focused environments where colour accuracy and alertness matter: home offices, study desks, bathrooms, garages, workshops and kitchens. The 200° beam angle provides wide, even coverage across rooms without creating harsh shadows or bright spots. The bulb operates on standard 220-240V mains and carries an Energy Class E rating.
Rated for 15,000 hours of use and 30,000 switching cycles, the bulb handles frequent on-off use without degrading lifespan, making it suitable for bathrooms, hallways and utility areas with motion sensors or manual switches. The CRI (colour rendering index) of ≥80 renders colours more accurately than lower-CRI bulbs, useful when matching paint colours, reading printed material or working with fabrics. The bulb is non-dimmable and should not be used with dimmer switches.

Frequently Asked
Is this bulb dimmable?
No. This bulb is non-dimmable and must not be used with dimmer switches. Attempting to dim a non-dimmable LED can cause flickering, reduced lifespan or damage to the bulb.
What colour temperature is 6500K?
6500K is classified as daylight white, producing a cool, bright white light similar to midday outdoor daylight. It's bluer and crisper than warm white (2700K-3000K) and is typically used in task-focused areas like home offices, workshops and bathrooms rather than living rooms or bedrooms.
What does B22 mean?
B22 is a bayonet cap fitting with a 22mm diameter base, the standard bulb fitting in most UK homes. The bulb pushes into the socket and twists to lock into place, as opposed to E27 screw fittings.
How long will this bulb last?
Rated for 15,000 hours of use. At an average of 3 hours per day, that equates to approximately 13-14 years of use. The bulb also supports 30,000 switching cycles, so frequent on-off use in hallways or bathrooms won't significantly reduce lifespan.
