Description

The Eveready 13.8W LED GLS bulb provides 1521 lumens of cool white 4000K light through a standard B22 bayonet cap fitting, replacing a 100W incandescent bulb while using 86% less energy. The GLS (General Lighting Service) shape is the classic A-shape bulb profile familiar in most UK homes, measuring 60mm diameter and 119mm height including the base.

Designed for task-focused areas such as kitchens, home offices, garages and workshops where cool white light aids concentration and visibility, the 4000K colour temperature sits between warm white and daylight. The 200° beam angle distributes light evenly across the full bulb envelope, making it suitable for ceiling pendants, table lamps and wall lights where wide dispersion is needed rather than directional spotlighting. The bulb operates on standard 220-240V UK mains and is not dimmable.

Rated for 15,000 hours at typical usage of 2.7 hours per day, the bulb carries a nominal 15-year lifespan under domestic conditions. The 30,000 switching cycles rating means the bulb handles frequent on-off use in hallways, bathrooms and utility rooms without premature failure. The CRI (Colour Rendering Index) of ≥80 renders colours accurately enough for general domestic and light commercial applications.
