Description

The Evelyn is a 600mm diameter pendant light with a cylindrical cream gauze shade wrapped around a polished chrome frame, featuring a vertical panel of square-cut crystal pieces set into the shade wall and a faceted crystal drop below the diffuser plate. Five E27 bulbs inside the shade (sold separately) light the interior, casting ambient glow through the cream fabric while the crystal panel refracts decorative sparkle.

Designed for dining rooms, living rooms and bedrooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Evelyn can be installed as either a long-drop pendant (up to 1270mm total drop) or as a semi-flush ceiling light with the minimum 260mm drop. The adjustable cable run during installation allows the fitting to suit tables, seating areas or central ceiling positions depending on room layout. The 600mm diameter provides substantial presence over a dining table for four to six people or as a centrepiece in a 4m x 4m living room.

The cream gauze shade softens the output from the five bulbs and hides the internal wiring and lampholder structure, while the square-cut crystal panel on one side of the shade and the single faceted drop beneath the frosted white diffuser plate add decorative refraction when the light is on. The polished chrome finish on the circular canopy, suspension wires and lower frame band provides a reflective accent that pairs with both warm-toned and cool contemporary interiors. At 5.3kg the fitting requires secure ceiling fixing into a joist or suitable anchor.
