Description

The Etoile is a single pendant light built around a conical aged brass shade with a gold-painted interior and a brass star accent positioned mid-suspension on the black cord. The shade tapers from a 133mm base diameter to a narrower top opening, directing light downward through the E27 bulb fitting while the gold interior reflects warm tones back into the room.

Designed for kitchen islands, bar counters, dining nooks and hallway drop zones with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Etoile sits 572mm from ceiling rose to shade base at minimum drop and extends to 1511mm maximum on the 914mm adjustable cord. The pendant casts focused downlight suitable for task zones while the star accent adds a decorative flourish visible from multiple angles in the room. The compact 133mm shade diameter works above narrow counters, single-seat breakfast bars or clustered in multiples above wider surfaces.

The aged brass finish shows a warm patina with slight tonal variation across the metal surface, contrasting against the matte black suspension cord. The star accent is finished in a separate gold leaf application, creating two distinct metal tones within the same fitting. The shade interior's gold paint amplifies the warmth of filament-style bulbs and softens the output of cooler LED sources. The Etoile takes a standard E27 bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED filament bulb between 4-8W and 2200K-2700K to complement the aged brass and gold interior finishes.

Can the drop height be adjusted?

Yes. The 914mm cord is adjustable on installation, allowing the pendant to hang between 572mm and 1511mm from the ceiling rose. For kitchen islands or bar counters the shade typically sits 600-900mm above the worktop depending on ceiling height.

What's the difference between aged brass and the gold leaf star?

The main shade and ceiling rose are finished in aged brass with a warm patina. The star accent midway down the cord is finished separately in a brighter gold leaf application, creating two distinct metal tones within the same fitting.

Can multiple Etoiles be clustered together?
