Esta 6 Light Square Crystal Flush Ceiling Light - Polished Chrome

The Esta is a 450mm square flush ceiling light built around a polished chrome frame that holds cascading strands of Asfour cut crystal. Six G9 bulbs (sold separately) sit above a frosted glass panel that diffuses the light downwards while the crystals create refraction patterns across walls and ceilings. A central crystal sphere hangs beneath the glass panel as a focal point.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or less where a pendant would hang too low, the Esta provides ambient light through the frosted glass while the crystal strands add decorative sparkle. The 160mm overall drop from ceiling to base keeps the fitting close to the surface, making it suited to bedrooms, hallways, and low-ceilinged living rooms in flats or period conversions. The square footprint covers a central ceiling rose and the polished chrome finish reflects both daylight and artificial light back into the room.

Each crystal strand uses precision-cut Asfour crystal — a lead-free optical crystal with higher refractive index than standard glass, producing sharper light dispersion. The frosted glass panel below the bulbs prevents glare when viewed from below and creates a soft wash of light across the room rather than hard shadows. The 4.4kg weight requires secure fixing to a ceiling joist or between-joist noggin, particularly in plasterboard ceilings.

Is the Esta dimmable?

Yes, provided you fit dimmable G9 bulbs and pair the circuit with a compatible dimmer switch. The fitting itself has no electronic components that would prevent dimming.

What bulbs does it take?

The Esta takes six G9 capsule bulbs up to 33W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users fit G9 LED bulbs between 3-5W and 2700K-3000K for warm ambient light without excessive heat build-up behind the glass panel.

What ceiling height does it suit?

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off at the mains. Wipe the crystal strands with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water. Do not spray cleaning products directly onto the crystals or chrome frame — overspray can leave residue on the frosted glass panel.
