Description

The Essence is a slim round-bar wall light that throws its light indirectly, washing a wall above and below rather than facing a beam into the room. A satin opal polycarbonate diffuser runs the length of the bar, so the built-in LED reads as a soft, even line rather than a row of points. In black it sits as a clean dark stroke on the wall, lit or unlit.

This version runs at 2700K, a very warm white putting out 1300 lumens along the bar for a gentle graze up and down the surface. At 750mm long it suits a hallway, a stairwell, a headboard wall or a living-room feature, mounted level or stacked to build a run of light.

The base and body are powder-coated aluminium with a fixed satin opal polycarbonate diffuser. The LED is built in and included, rated at 12W over a 50,000 hour life, so it lights the moment it is wired with no bulb to buy. It carries an IP20 rating for dry indoor rooms, so we would have an electrician make the connection.

What kind of light does the Essence give?

A soft, indirect line of light. The opal diffuser spreads the built-in LED evenly along the 750mm bar and the fitting throws light up and down the wall rather than into the room, so it grazes the surface as a wall washer. This version is a very warm white at 2700K.

Does it come ready to light?

Yes. The LED is integrated and included, rated at 12W and 1300 lumens with a 50,000 hour life, so there is no bulb to buy. It arrives ready to wire in.

Is it dimmable?

It is supplied as a standard on/off fitting and is not dimmable as standard. If you want to set the level, let us know and we can advise on a compatible dimming setup.

How big is it and where does it suit?

The bar is 750mm long, 70mm tall and projects 99mm from the wall. That size suits a hallway, a stairwell, a headboard wall or a feature wall, mounted on its own or stacked into a run.
